The Philippine Nurses Association of Northern California is honored to host the 32nd Annual Philippine Nurses Association of America National Convention.

The past year has been indeed a challenging time as we dealt with the mechanics of hosting. What we have achieved in doing so was not a surprise. It is an absolute manifestation of everyone’s engagement and unselfish dedication from planning to execution. The hard work has been overshadowed by brilliance and cohesiveness to attain a common goal.

The annual gathering of Filipino nurses has become a tradition that all must be proud of for we are witnessing what we have become. Undoubtedly, our presence has greatly impacted the health care delivery as we have faced multitude of challenges and changes in our profession. It is just fitting that we recognize and honor our colleagues as they excel in their own fields of nursing and award scholarships to deserving nursing students that will be our future leaders and role models.

Our Educational conference is top rated headed by well known experts and nursing author as they impart knowledge from their own field of expertise. Most of all, the participation of our very own Advanced Practice Nurses is a proof that we “have come a long way”.

As PNANC marked its Golden Anniversary, we treasure and honor the legacy that was planted before us. We commend the past Presidents and now our mentors, for their visions and expertise. Their guidance is immeasurable.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank PNAA President Dr.Rey Rivera and the PNAA Executive Board, our Sponsors and Exhibitors, all the volunteers and the support of PNA chapters to bring this Convention to reality.

Last but not least, I salute the PNANC Executive and Advisory Board for bringing forth all what they have. I am blessed and grateful! Have fun and enjoy!
